Shopin is a dream about to become a reality, a marketplace that is different in just the right ways to help the customers shop better, save money, and gain back some power in their purchasing.

We are setting out to build a marketplace that is all about the customers, and giving them more power, all while creating a company that was setup to fight corporate greed, to fight the corporate giants, give our members the purchasing power they need to make a difference and create the lasting change, in our members pockets, and business that we aim for.

With a Shopin membership you are joining a club that puts our customers, our employees, and our impact on the world, over shareholder profits, and corporate greed. We aim to be an almost if not an entirely membership funded startup, and this is because it is only with our members that we will have the power to achieve our goals, and without the more traditional funding methods it means that it is our members that we answer to and therefore our members that we are looking out for not ever-increasing profits to satisfy shareholder and stock market expectations.

Shopin’s target is to rebalance the marketplace and to save it members money on their everyday purchases in an ethical manor that benefits everyone including the businesses, their employees, Shopin, and most importantly our members the only reason we exist.

We may want to be one of biggest and best marketplaces around the world, but that doesn’t mean we want to be the richest, in fact how we operate is one of the biggest difference you will see from the top down and in doing so we hope to help millions of customers find savings and better businesses to buy from, and to help millions of businesses to grow their brands, find better ways to get better products to customers, and to help the local economies and communities to prosper because of ecommerce rather then parish due to it.

So Here’s The Game Plan

• We aim to give our members the best selection of products at the best prices, and to make it easy and inexpensive for our suppliers so that they can do so as well. 
• With Members specials and savings to start and further benefits to come Joining the Shopin Members network will be the best thing you do for yourself and even for others this year.
• We aim to make shopping more affordable for everyone, to give the customer more power in their purchases, and in the businesses they purchase from, all well making our business one that you feel great about supporting 
• From our net profits after taxes and all expenses we plan to allocate the following:
  • 25% for nonexecutive Employee retention fund to help ensure that any low points in our business doesn’t automatic result in job losses, no one should lose there job so the bottom line looks better to the shareholder’s, dividends beat expectations, or CEO’s and other executive’s can get enormous bonuses.
  • 25% for Employee pension fund cause the company you worked for and helped be successful should help you in return
  • 5% charitable donations and community programs (once our corporate savings goals are met the unused funds from that will go here).
  • And though we will have corporate savings and profit as any good company should to maintain the business through rough times, we will be capping these savings to a maximum in our savings balances of 2 years of total operating cost including profit. Once this has been reach savings will be reduced to the amount that will retain this balance.
• We will be entirely membership funded and will have no Venture Capitalists, Angle Investors, Corporate backer, or anyone or any organization behind us to force the company to keep raising profit margins, overpay CEO’s, take advantage of employees, or really do anything that is not in the best interests of our members, and society, as such we will will not be listing on the stock market, as our goal is to create a company that changes the way business is done, and taking the greed out of the corporation.
• Anything we make above our yearly targeted net profit after all expenses will be used towards members savings, giveaways, charitable donation, community building, and other ways that we can give back to those that helped us achieve this goal and those that can benefit most from the any potential excess that comes from making more then we thought we would, this is the benefit of being member funded rather then more traditional funding methods. We are not after record profits, we are after a fair profit and record savings for our members.
